How to Set Up and Send a MailChimp Campaign
Blog Introduction: MailChimp is one of the most popular email marketing platforms out there, and for good reason. It’s user-friendly interface and wide range of features make it perfect for businesses of all sizes. In this post, we’ll show you how to set up and send a MailChimp campaign step-by-step. Let’s get started!
Setting Up Your Account
The first thing you need to do is set up your MailChimp account. You can do this by going to mailchimp.com and entering your email address and a password. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be taken to the dashboard where you can begin creating your campaign.
Creating Your Campaign
Now it’s time to start creating your campaign. To do this, click on the “Create Campaign” button in the top-right corner of the screen. This will bring up a pop-up window with a number of different campaign types to choose from. For our purposes, we’re going to choose the “Regular ol’ Campaign” option.
Next, you’ll need to give your campaign a name. This can be anything you want, but we recommend something that reflects the content of your email or the goal of your campaign. Once you’ve done this, click on the “Next” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
You’ll now be taken to the “Recipients” page where you can add recipients for your campaign. Here, you can either enter individual email addresses or upload a list of contacts from a CSV or TXT file. Once you’ve added your recipients, click on the “Next” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Designing Your Email
Now it’s time to design your email. MailChimp makes this easy with their drag-and-drop email builder. To start designing your email, simply click on any of the elements in the left-hand sidebar and then drag it into place in your email template. You can add as many or as few elements as you want, and you can always preview what your email will look like by clicking on the “Preview and Test” button in the top-left corner of the screen.
Once you’re happy with your design, click on the next button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Scheduling Your Email
The next step is to schedule when your email will be sent out. Here, you can either choose to send it immediately or schedule it for later. If you choose to schedule it for later, simply enter the date and time when you want it to be sent out and then click on the “Schedule Send” button in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
